General
Plushvilla is your liason to the property owner and/or host of the accommodations we feature on the website. In addition we set the common standards that all of our listings must abide by so your hotel quality expectations are met. You book directly with us through Plushvilla’s website but your host is in full control of accepting or declining your booking request.. We aspire to make sure that your host provides you with the Plushvilla experience.
Deposit
A 20% deposit is required to hold the reservation with the remainder due 30 days prior to arrival. Once the cost is paid in full, all terms and conditions listed here shall be binding on all people occupying the rented space.
What to expect
Normal use of utilities including water, gas and electricity is included in the booking fee. Cleaning services are also included for a minimum of 2 days per week unless a particular property has been provided an exception due to extraordinary circumstances. In this case this exception will be clearly listed on the property. The accommodation will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and outfitted with clean sheets, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Any additional supplies you need can be organized with the host but they may or may not charge a fee for this service. Each accommodation shall have a coffee machine with coffee, a hairdryer, a TV and free Wifi. For properties with Nespresso machines the pods are not provided and it is recommended you bring your own. You can instead opt to use a standard coffee machine in which case this will be provided instead of the Nespresso machine.
Cancellations
Each accommodation has a clearly listed cancellation policy but Plushvilla will work with you in an emergency to help find the best solution to make you whole. We cannot always help but we will try our best.
Checking in & out
General check-in time is after 3pm, and general checkout time is prior to 11am, unless otherwise agreed. Account will be taken where possible of flight arrival/departure times etc. Accommodations can be made for early or late check out but have to be made 48hrs prior to either.
Accurate representation
We expect that the host accurately represents the current state of the property in pictures and videos. We ask them to send us an updated video periodically to ensure this is true. If we find at anytime that this is not true the host will lose their ability to list with us as we take this very seriously. Minor changes may occur over time so don’t expect a 100% match. But do expect a comfortable bed and similar, although not identical, amenities.
Occupancy / number of guests
Regulations may require that a passport or identification card be provided for registration. On arrival all guests will be required to provide same. At booking time the final number of guests who will occupy the accommodation should be provided as the host has stated the capacity of each property based on its size. If you require a higher number of guests than the stated capacity this must be worked out with the host prior to arrival as we reserve the right to refuse the extra guests over capacity that show up. If the property does have a way to accommodate the extra guests that show up and, in the unlikely event, chooses to accept the additional guests then you will likely be charged extra for this accommodation.
Alterations and Cancellations by Plushvilla
We at Plushvilla understand the importance of a confirmed booking and it is very very unlikely that we will have to make modifications but sometimes, because of things outside of our control, it does occasionally happen. In this event we will let you know as soon as we know that we are unable to provide you with the intended accommodation and will make every attempt to locate an alternative property for the period required. If we cannot find you an acceptable accommodation, Plushvilla will cancel the booking and refund in full. Plushvilla is not be liable for any further remedies or claims due to a Plushvilla initiated modification or cancellation.
Insurance
Plushvilla recommends travel insurance (including flight delays and cancellations, loss and/or damage to luggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage). Plushvilla is held harmless by you and your party against all claims including any accidents related to the use of the accommodation facilities or third party services you utilize during your stay. Examples (not a complete list) of third party services you may use that we are not liable for are boats, jetski, water sports, bicycle, jeep or motorbike rental. We aspire to provide you recommendations to make your stay more enjoyable but our recommendations do not constitute liability on our part and you do any of these activities at your own choice and risk. Plushvilla shall also not be responsible for any delay, inconvenience, or additional expense caused directly or indirectly by events outside of Plushvilla control such as floods, fires, weather, acts of God, acts of Government, civil disturbances etc.
Liability Release
Under no circumstances shall Plushvilla be held responsible for any loss, expense, damage, claim or injury either directly or indirectly, consequential or otherwise whatsoever, however caused or incurred, whether arising in contract or otherwise in law or equity as a result of rendering of the services or accommodation as described or substituted and including, without restricting the generality of the foregoing as a result of any delay(s), substitution(s), rescheduling(s), or change(s) in the provision of services or land accommodation by Plushvilla or by reason military action, revolution or “acts of God”, or by any agents, employees, subcontractors, servants or third parties whatsoever supplying any of the services or accommodations herein or as substituted. If any accommodations and/or services are substituted, Plushvilla at all times will act in good faith and use its best efforts to substitute with accommodations and/or services or a type comparable to those originally contracted. Plushvilla at their sole and unfettered discretion reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any person(s) and/or to second any contract for accommodations or guests services.
Complaints
Plushvilla provides services and accommodations to you in good faith both on Plushvilla’s website and anywhere else. Plushvilla accepts no responsibility for:
- changes made to the accommodation not disclosed on the website or made known to us.
- malfunction of the property facilities including, but not limited to, water supply, electricity, air conditioning, heating or swimming pool.
If you or your guests, during your stay in the accommodation, encounters any issue, problem or general distaste concerning an accomodation, the matter should first be immediately taken up with the host who should have given you their contact information at check in. If an acceptable solution cannot be found or you cannot contact the host, then please report the issue to Plushvilla via email within 24 hours of the issue occurring and we will do our best to coordinate with the host ourselves and get your issue resolved. If within 24hrs of the problem occurring the issue was not reported or if you have already left the accommodation without providing such a notification we will not honour such complaints since, without your presence and your timely complaint, it becomes difficult to investigate the issue effectively.
Conduct & Behaviour
The person booking the accommodation with Plushvilla has responsibility for the correct and appropriate behaviour of all guests staying in the accommodation. Should this not be the case, the host may at their sole discretion ask the offending party or parties to vacate the accommodation forthwith.
Treat the accommodation with care
All guests should treat the accommodation with care including all fixtures and fittings as you are liable for any damage which you or your visitors may cause. The host should be advised of any breakages immediately so there is an opportunity to fix the problem in a timely manner before the next guest arrives. Any items missing from the accomodation at the end of your stay will be considered as theft so please ensure that anything you found in the accommodation, when you arrived, is still there. If guests’ are found to be behaving unacceptably, hosts are within their right to terminate the rental immediately providing no refund. Hence please be considerate and abide by any rules and regulations as documented on the accommodation and by what common sense dictates.
Due Care and Supervision
The person booking the accommodation acknowledges and accepts responsibility and liability for the safety of all guests and visitors to the accommodation. Due care must be exercised especially regarding children playing in and around the accommodation; near roads; near or in pools, on balconies, on the beach and in the sea. Guests should also dry off before entering the accommodation because if wet, the floors can be slippery and injury or damage may result. All guests and visitors agree to hold both Plushvilla Villa and the host, harmless for any such accidents and injury occurring during the rental period.
Valuables
Any valuables left at the property are left at one’s own risk. Neither Plushvilla nor the accommodation host, employees or contractors are responsible for their loss or damage. Please make sure that valuables are stored in the accomodation safe or at least hidden from plain sight.
Illegal Activity
Acting unlawfully in any way whatsoever on premises is strictly prohibited. Possessing and/or consuming illegal substances while in the accommodation is also expressly forbidden. A discovery of any activity in violation of the laws of the accomodation country may lead to immediate referral to the local police.
Documentation
Any required passports, visas and health certificate requirements are the clients’ responsibility. Should any delay or expense be incurred because of these documents we accept no responsibility. Any cancellation made due to the inability of the client to provide any required documentation will be subject to cancellation charges.
